In 2 Women, 2 Mothers, Vicki and Merry take a deep dive into the tribulations and triumphs of this complex relationship. In each of their two solo performances, they explore the transformative nature of mothers and daughters— what it means to be a daughter and a mother and sometimes both at the same time.

In It’s About Time, Vicki navigates the challenging end-of-life journey she travels with her mother, while celebrating and exploring their complex dynamics. As Vicki transitions from daughter to mothering her own mother, she finds the humor and sorrow in letting go.

Therapy Fund is a comic and poignant exploration of Merry’s relationships with her two daughters and her mother and grandmother. It looks at how inter-generational trauma can be addressed and healed, when one is committed to doing it differently and laughing at her own mistakes and foibles along the way.

With over 100 offerings from rebellious circus, delicious dance, fearless theatre and activist art to workshops, parties, and more Cannonball pushes the boundaries of live performance at four different venues this Fringe. Come as you are and stay past bedtime at cannonballfestival.org.
