Presented by A Different Key Singers Association (ADK), this concert features beloved Chinese folk songs reimagined through contemporary arrangements, modern band accompaniment, and Western musical influences. From lyrical melodies to energetic rhythms, the program showcases the rich flavors of musical traditions from around the world.
Like a barbecue gathering where every dish brings a unique taste to the table, this performance brings together singers, instrumentalists, and musical genres in a joyful expression of creativity, community, and cultural exchange. The result is a musical feast that reflects ADK’s artistic journey, musical growth, and commitment to connecting people through song.

Founded in 2000, the Performance Garage is housed in a historic 19th-century building that was originally a horse stable. Since 2002, the façade and interiors were renovated, and the space was transformed into supportive non-profit dance studios with residencies, educational programs, and a 110-seat dance theater.

A Different Key Singers Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching our communities through group singing, choral performances, and vocal education. At A Different Key Singers Association, we believe music is a universal language. We specialize in show tunes and popular music from both Eastern and Western traditions. Founded in 2022, A Different Key Singers Association is a unique Asian American modern singing group recognized for its simple and elegant performance style. ADK believes that singing should be an immersive experience, blending diverse musical genres with meaningful performances that resonate with audiences from all backgrounds.ADK’s artistic mission is deeply rooted in social awareness and community engagement. We believe that singing has the power to transcend boundaries, inspire empathy, and spark meaningful conversations about important social issues. Through our work, we strive to create enriching learning experiences, collaborate with exceptional artists and partners, and continuously expand our artistic horizon.
