What type of person is most and least penetrable in the room at all times? How much will u love me if I give u absolutely nothing? <3 Don’t u think it would be fun to watch me become so so cavernous? <3 In this highly immersive work, participation is required as we cover vast terrain from the club to the prairie.

About the Artist

Gene Farbe is a prolific live art maker who uses humor and their inquisitive nature to make pieces with the grotesqueness, beauty and force of natural birth. In the past five years, Gene has made 17 shows from presenting as a Graduate of Headlong Institute, to puppet shows and free community art events. They have shown work with Lino Kino, Icebox Project Space, The Window Room, Rascal Arts in New York City, Maas Building, and Fringe Arts. In 2023, they received the Leeway Art and Change Grant to create a Live Action Role Play. In 2024 they received a cosponsorship grant from the Penn Treaty Special Services District. Gene hopes to make you smile with their work, and they hope most importantly that that smile opens up a little space in your heart to have you ask some really big questions about yourself and the world around you.
