Birthday Party is a fast-pace, contemporary, circus, comedy that showcases the complex relationships humans have to being born, being alive and celebrating those milestones. During this 45 minute production, the artists and the audience will be exploring the history, science, and social culture of birthdays, gift giving, and getting older. With partner-acrobatics, aerial arts and all-original music, it’s a show full of surprises and a few sweet treats. Birthday Party is the event of the year, that all ages won’t want to miss. Consider yourself invited!

This fall, Circus Campus Presents, a vibrant hub within the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, invites you to a unique experience. Since its inception in 2017, Circus Campus has woven a tapestry of community, uniting teachers, students, performers, & creators. Located in West Mt. Airy, the campus is a creatively repurposed church, just a short walk from Upsal Station. Circus Bliss is a Nashville-based contemporary circus company driven by a vibrant curiosity of the collective human experience, as it parallels the passionate personal experience. Founder and creative director, Bliss Button-Hale, is an activist, artist, educator, and avid digital creator. Circus Bliss started as an online presence to showcase the lifestyle of a circus career path, and has expanded to include full-length live productions. Circus Bliss’ mission is to get audiences thinking, questioning what is “normal, ” and finding agency in our individual choices—movement with a message.
