Part lyra, part pole, all fun! Learn the basics of this apparatus, including mounts & poses. Please note that due to the nature of the apparatus, this workshop will involve spinning. All levels welcome.
Intro to Dance Pole w PSCA

This Intro to Pole workshop is designed with the complete beginner in mind and made for all fitness levels. No previous experience required. Students will learn beginner pole tricks, spins, low flow and floorwork. By the end of the class, we will incorporate these movements into a flowy mini-routine with fun shapes and transitions.

REQUIREMENTS: ?The poles are covered with friction tape, so students should wear full coverage pants (no exposed skin on legs/feet) and flexible athletic shoes.

CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS: The poles are made of chrome, so the more skin, the better. Shorts and a sports bra are suggested, please don't wear lotion or jewelry to this workshop.

The Philadelphia School of Circus Arts (PSCA) was founded in 2008 and is the premier Recreational Circus School in Philadelphia. Currently located in a 30, 000 sq/ft facility in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia, our offerings include both Youth and Adult programming in circus arts.
