Codependent charlatans mount a cabaret to hide in plain sight. Fleeing Paris after a tragic “accident,” these vaudevillians are washed up with no money and nowhere to stay. But The Muse calls–so they’ve booked a venue, stolen a band, and invited you! Come for the music, stay for the chaos, leave for your sanity.

With over 100 offerings from rebellious circus, delicious dance, fearless theatre and activist art to workshops, parties, and more Cannonball pushes the boundaries of live performance at four different venues this Fringe. Come as you are and stay past bedtime at cannonballfestival.org.

About the Artist

Actors/Writers/Musicians Avery & Kat met in Berlin (at clown camp) in the Summer of 2022, thousands of miles from Brooklyn, where they actually lived. They vowed to carry the eclectic, physical theater magic back to New York, and so the joyful foolishness continued. Playing music led to making stupid jokes, which fed back into their music, which inspired more stupid jokes. Avery & Kat come from different circumstances: Avery from atheist Jewish Bostonian doctors, Kat from protestant God(dess) fearing preachers in North Georgia--but the same twisted intuition led them here today, for which they're forever grateful.
