Queer, imperfect, unruly, and meticulous; life remains uncertain, and I yearn to pause time so that we may smell the roses and find the intricacies of love in every instant. I make art that brings the chaos out of the mundanity of life, offering it a stage to tell its own story. To see is to be seen; my art unleashes a moment of stillness in time so that we, as a collective, can cry, laugh, and love synchronically. I want my art to scare and surprise me, interest and confound you, and at the eleventh hour, pour you a cup of tea. My work offers a strong yet soft understanding of daily life, giving a voice to things intentionally left unsaid, as I strive to find and embrace new meanings and facets of the creation of art. Living in the uncomfortability, finding stillness, and teetering on the edge of insanity cup of tea in hand.
