Yu.S.Artistry is delighted to be returning to Cannonball Festival, with two world premiere pieces: "Dream of A," by artistic director Yuki Ishiguro, and "A Flamboyance and a Funeral," by assistant artistic director Olivia Wood Ishiguro. Both choreographers delve into their world-building choreographic styles, drawing inspiration from Japanese myths and legends and the societal customs of creatures and humans alike. With original music by composer Rin Nagaya, exciting use of props and lights, the show promises to be fun for the whole family.

Yuki Ishiguro, originally from Japan, is the artistic director/choreographer of Bucks County-based dance company Yu.S.Artistry.
Yu.S.Artistry was founded in 2018 in New York and their works have been presented at various adjudicated festivals such as Booking Dance Festival at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Come Together Dance Festival at Suzanne Roberts ztheater in PA, Nazareth College in Rochester NY, CDCfest in Florida, among others.
In addition to festival work, Yu.S.Artistry self-produced Shifting Tides at Actors Fund Arts in 2019, Wave of Colors at Queens Theater in 2021, and Memories of the moon at The Tank NYC, Villa Joseph Marie Theater in Bucks County, PA and Cannonball Festival in Philadelphia in 2023.
In 2023 Yu.S.Artistry moved their base to Bucks County as a PA registered 501(c)(3).
Combining breakdancing with ballet, ambient music with spoken word, and stark solos with a complex light display, the company experimented without detracting from the breathtaking skill of its highly-trained dancers. - Thinking Dance
As a performer Yuki has worked and toured with several dance companies in the U.S. : Roxey ballet, Emery LeCrone dance, Catapult entertainment known from Americas Got Talent, collaborated with musicians at Carnegie Hall, entertainment show produced by Tommy Hilfiger, fusion flute musician Kenzie Slottow in Texas for music videos and tours.
