The Dead Playwrights' Society's "The Exiled" is a dramatic portrayal of overlapping love triangles, marital discord, and the self centered, even criminal, events in which men will engage, leading to shattered relationships. James Joyce's original -sexual- desperate -duplicitous- play, "Exiles", depicting debauchery and duping in Ireland, and written 110 years ago, has been adapted for four performances at the 2023 Philadelphia Fringe Festival. "The Exiled" is set in 1972, and is recast as the story of a Philadelphia homecoming.
