About the Artist

Daniel Burgess began his theatre company, Ubin Movement Theatre (UMT), in 2022 after receiving his Bachelor in Fine Arts in Acting at the University of the Arts. UMT devotes itself to focusing on movement inspired by Jacques Lecoq, commedia dell’arte, post-modern dance, and children’s theatre. UMT has created original works for SoloFest and Cannonball Festival, such as ‘Testing Site’ and ‘This Endless Oddity’.
