Good Bones

"Any decent realtor... goes on about 'good bones'... You could make this place beautiful." How do you refurbish the “good bones” of your life? A 74-year-old gay artist, four decades sober, looks back on his journey. With humor and confessional honesty, he connects the life events — first love to the AIDs epidemic to a bout with clinical depression to caring for his father — that finally bring him home, and give him the strength to double down on love after his husband suffers a serious stroke. It’s a hell of a story — and one you probably haven’t heard before.
