“How I Got Over”

N1 Theatre

Theater

Four Theatre Works that grapple (with) our moment through metaphor, allegory, image and poetry. Ancestor stories, personal stories, twisting satire. Insight and solace as we battle. Islands of calm and humor. Powers delivered by those who loved and preceded us. We repeat. We repeat. "How I Got Over."

"What theatre! You can feel the breath of his words on your face. You can hear these words chewing. Fabric and dream fly at you, Moritz's stinging pressurized head-on jumping jellybean rose dropping light switching language takes you hostage!" Maureen Owen

a gale that uproots trees and human lives
subtle breezes that lick the ears with promises of something more
once she passes, nothing is the same.” Omi Osun Joni L. Jones

About the Artist

www.n1-theatre.com

This is the theatre of Yes inspired by the theatre of Noh. This is theatre that affirms the fragility and resiliency of the human condition. This is poetry in motion, poetic presentations of people, places, things, ideas, histories both hidden and obvious.
