ABOUT JACKIE SKINNER
Jackie Skinner is a comedic performance artist and clown... silly, but earnest... from Waltham, Massachusetts, now based in Los Angeles.
Her clown thriller HYSTERICAL played sold-out runs at Hollywood Fringe 2026 and Denver Fringe 2026, where critics called it "a masterpiece" and named Jackie "one of the most talented performers in Los Angeles." One certified reviewer summed it up as "if the Italian horror master Giallo made a clown show." Out of 480 shows, HYSTERICAL's run earned two Hollywood Fringe nominations: TOP OF FRINGE and BEST CLOWN & ALTERNATIVE COMEDY, and earned two festival exchange invitations (Adelaide Fringe Exchange, Spookyfest). Jackie brought an work-in-progress iteration of HYSTERICAL to Philly Fringe last year under the title Composed. A Philly Fringe reviewer wrote of her work: "this may turn out to be the funniest thing I see during the festival."

Her two-hander Jackie & Allison Into the Multiverse toured comedy festivals across the US and Canada (Toronto and Montreal), was featured in the Boston Globe as "elevating absurdity to art, " and won BEST COMEDY at the 2025 New York City Fringe Festival.
With a background in improv, sketch, clown, and stand-up, Jackie has performed her solo work across the USA, including: Chicago Sketchfest, Austin Sketchfest, Boston Comedy Arts Festival, iO's Bentwood Comedy Festival, Seattle's Highlarious Comedy Festival, Crossroads Comedy Festival, UCB NY, Magnet Theater NYC, and the PIT NYC. She debuted Beautiful Woman as a work-in-progress at Edinburgh Fringe 2024 and performed in the award-winning variety show Piggy Time.
