In the wake of their father’s death, siblings Warren and Rochelle find themselves back in their childhood home with a box of ashes. In the foreground sits the question of what to do with their father's remains. But in the background, decades of unspoken truths, grief, and healing lie in slumber as everyone and everything inches ever so slowly towards a reckoning generations in the making.
There is a special bond between siblings, who carry in their bones the memory of home, parents, and dreams that have either been marred or manifested. And siblings carry each other, too. Through thick and thin.
And, If Blood Is Thicker Than Water, Then Swim In It.
With over 100 offerings from rebellious circus, delicious dance, fearless theatre and activist art to workshops, parties, and more Cannonball pushes the boundaries of live performance at four different venues this Fringe. Come as you are and stay past bedtime at cannonballfestival.org.
