"Awakened disoriented and confused by the blaring alarm sounds that filled the room, the humans could only think of one thing: The Chosen One. Thoughts of the Chosen One fill the room with overwhelming confusion, suffocating everyone into violence, crying, and praying. In a world where worship is your sole purpose, humans find themselves battling between uncovering the truth or devoting themselves to the Preparation.
The Truman Show meets Squid games in this haunting youth-led look at cults, the unknown and the price of devotion."
With over 100 offerings from rebellious circus, delicious dance, fearless theatre and activist art to workshops, parties, and more Cannonball pushes the boundaries of live performance at four different venues this Fringe. Come as you are and stay past bedtime at cannonballfestival.org.

The Shadow Company is a teen-led high school theater program which devises an original production from scratch each year to be performed as part of the Fringe Festival. We are an intentionally diverse community of young people with the goal of building an ensemble of performers who recognize the power of their voice and tell their own stories. Each show is conceived of, written and performed by high school students with the guidance and direction of professional teaching artists.
