Do you need a pep talk? Of course you do! How could you not? Come to the Old Pine Community Center Locker Room where the game is not over yet, and we may be losing, but that does not mean we’re losers. We might be losers for other reasons, but not because of that. Coach has been working hard on his pep talk to whip you into the winners that you can be. This show is for 2 kinds of people, people who love sports, people who don’t love sports and people who always wanted to be in a locker room for 45 minutes as a middle age man in a track suit does his best to inspire you to win at the biggest game of all; LIFE . . . . or at least not lose at it.

Andrew Scharff is from Philadelphia, PA and has spent the last 28 years successfully avoiding a normal life. After high school, he somehow got into Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey Clown College and then toured with circuses in the US, Europe and Japan for 9 years. After that he performed for 5 years as a physical comedian for Poet Productions on Celebrity Cruise lines. There he added a circus/vaudeville element to the production shows and also developed some killer material that could only be performed during the ship’s life boat drill.
For the last 9 years he’s been back in Philadelphia staying busy on his stilts as Mister Legs, at CHOP with Healthy Humor as Dr. Notadoctor, and performing Andrew’s Big Show, a comedy-variety-circus show, in all kinds of places and once a year taking a trip for his Clown the World project; www.clowntheworld.com. He is also slowly plotting to take over the world with his high production value, comedy, variety show for all ages that will someday be known as the Moulin Rouge Cabaret of Philadelphia but with more clothing.
This is his second Fringe Show, the first being “Andrew has Projects, Cubby has Comments” which played at The Circus Campus HUB in 2021. He can not for the life of him remember how, when or why he came up with the idea of the Locker Room Pep Talk, but since the inception, he has know that he would only perform it in an actual locker room and quickly shot down any idea to the contrary.

Audience Interaction
There will be a reasonable amount of metal locker doors slamming.
There will be audience interaction but the show is able to be watched and enjoyed without interacting.
Tough love. Coach isn't mad he's just disappointed.
