Opera on Tap Philadelphia is the local branch of Opera on Tap, a nonprofit organization dedicated to opera outreach. We firmly believe that everyone will enjoy opera if they only get a chance to experience it, so we bring opera right to the people. At Opera on Tap Philadelphia, we are committed to showcasing local talent and organizations, and our performers regularly appear at unconventional venues throughout Philly, from the Franklin Institute to Dahlak Paradise to Velvet Whip. Through our ongoing partnership with Historic Germantown, we have brought together music and history with performances at the Hood Cemetery, Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion, and Johnson House.
