Rose Lee’s “Our Innocence.” Undress Your Assumptions. Embrace the Sacred. Rose Lee's Our Innocence is a multimedia performance that shatters expectations and invites a voyeuristic glimpse into the most intimate corners of self-discovery. Through song and captivating visuals, this show weaves a tapestry of personal diary entries set to music, exploring the intersection of sex, faith, and vulnerability. Facing radical honesty and reclaiming the body as a vessel for self-discovery and untamed desire. The bedroom, a haven of vulnerability, becomes the stage for a confessional performance, a raw diary entry laid bare for the world to witness. This experience pushes boundaries and ignites discourse. Through Rose Lee's captivating visuals, pulsating musical diary entries, and raw vulnerability, you'll be forced to confront your own preconceptions and the very nature of being human.
Plan to stick around after the 9:30pm show for a dance party with the Urban Movement Arts community and one of our crew's DJs.

Emerging electronic artist Rose Lee has been playing music since she can remember. Hailing from Kensington Philadelphia, the daughter of a jazz musician and a visual artist, Rose came up fully immersed in Philadelphia’s rich Jazz and arts culture. This has been a driving force in her creativity, which not only transcends music, but continues to break down walls merely by existing outside genre norms.
