SHITTER: Take Deuce

Jeff Evans

Connect

You are brilliant in the bathroom - you are wise, you are powerful, you are fully yourself. This solo clown mess is the love-child of Jeff Evans and his own butt. Get ready for bad science and badder art with SHITTER. Most human cells are actually bacteria, so is it any wonder things have gone poorly? The only solution is to return EVERY DAY to that place that unifies body and mind in ways that the yoga studio just can't. It's where you consolidate yourself, where you console yourself, where you digest yourself, where you compose and de-compose yourself. It's where you answer the questions, "How will I pass through life? How will life pass through me?"

With over 100 offerings from rebellious circus, delicious dance, fearless theater and activist art to workshops, parties, and more Cannonball pushes the boundaries of live performance at four different venues this Fringe. Come as you are and stay past bedtime. Blaze your own trail at cannonballfestival.org.

About the Artist

Jeff Evans (he/him) is a Seattle-born, Philadelphia-based theater artist. He graduated from the Pig Iron School in 2018, and began an enjoyable career (or as his uncle says, "hobby") that he hopes to continue enjoying. You may have seen him as the Democratic Senator from West Virginia, Joe Manchin (that bastard) in Nick Jonczak's accidental-musical Man of La Manchin, or you may have helped him trawl through decades of old diaries in the interactive cottage-classic Artifacts of No Consequence. Like many artists, he also works as a Standardized Patient for various medical schools, where you might have seen him portray "Chest Pain" or "Major Depressive Episode". He craves both your attention and his family's approval, but he'll take it the other way around if it comes to it.
