The far future. Earth is nearly drained of resources and power. But when a signal is discovered deep in space that could provide limitless energy, an expedition is sent to recover it and bring it home. Only one man could possibly be right for such a mission (well, not really, but he was all there was in the end). Legendary hero Buick MacKane! In his trusty ship, The White Swan, Buick tracks the signal through journeys untold (except for right now) and hardships unnumbered (maybe three?) in an effort to save all of humanity and learn the strange secret of Bo-Lan. And answer a question that has plagued humankind since day one: can rock n’ roll can really save the world? That’s right, Children of the Revolution, it’s time to grab your diamond star halos and bang a gong into the greatest adventure of all time!
With over 100 offerings from rebellious circus, delicious dance, fearless theater and activist art to workshops, parties, and more Cannonball pushes the boundaries of live performance at four different venues this Fringe. Come as you are and stay past bedtime.
