This show reflects on the notion of commitment, as well as the relationship between the spiritual realm and changes within the mind and body. The show illuminates the universal aches of the world, and draws attention to the power when one’s soul intertwines with another.
This show was created for audiences ages 18+. Younger audiences will not be turned away, but please note that there is adult content in the show.
Cannonball, produced by Almanac Dance Circus Theatre, is the first and largest independent festival hub of the Philadelphia Fringe that presents risk-taking independent artists in back-to-back performances next to delicious lounge spaces, fostering creative collisions and community conversation.

Shekinah has worked for Trenton Circus Squad, CirqueOvation, Hupstate Circus Festival, Princeton University, Circus Culture, Ithaca City School District, Cornell University, Symphoria, and numerous other clients as a circus artist. She is the director of four original, full length circus shows titled Change, Change 2,
Forbidden Fruits, and The Making of Self. Shekinah specializes in a variety of circus disciplines including: Aerial trapeze, Aerial Lyra, Acrobatics, Clowning Juggling, Rola Bola, and Dance. She choreographs, directs, and costumes all of her own work, and is particularly invested in sharing her circus joy and captivating performances with little Black girls everywhere, modeling what circus is and can be for the next generation.
Cora Williams is a traveling circus artist that specializes in various of circus disciplines including unicycle/acrobats/juggling and Dance.
