Punk, Priestess, and Ghost. Experience a dream walk of mother archetypes. Watch meaning unravel while absurdity echoes. Somewhere between nonsense and what is holy, The Mother emerges...from the dissonant void. Be soft and surrender, it might be funny. It could be grief. Bring your body and leave expectations. A comedy, ritual, or misunderstanding? We don’t know.
With over 100 offerings from rebellious circus, delicious dance, fearless theatre and activist art to workshops, parties, and more Cannonball pushes the boundaries of live performance at four different venues this Fringe. Come as you are and stay past bedtime at cannonballfestival.org.

Former corporate graphic designer turned vessel of poetic nonsense, Claudia Pompeya is a visual artist and 'accidental' clown. She blends visual storytelling with physical performance and soft chaos. She's travelled the world to train with DellArte, renowned British comedy troupe Spymonkey, Dr Brown, and more. Her first clown work, In My Room, was featured in Wave Pool Art Gallery's Faux Real exhibition. The Mother is her first live solo clown show, which had its WIP premiere at the 2025 Cincinnati Fringe Festival.
