Rebel Arts Movement was founded in 2020 on the idea of providing accessibility to specialized movement including acrobatics, tumbling, and aerial arts. We are circus arts collective made up of Black dance artists and entertainers. Based in the Kensington area of Philadelphia, we strive make circus more accessibile to future performers and audiences. Our youth programs provide a space for the couch flipping kids and groom them into artists. Our performing company provides storytelling through the use of circus arts, touching on the issues that impacts the Black community. We value community, diversity, accessibility, and integrity.
