Dave NobleSoul takes listeners on a journey through the legendary music of Philadelphia, sharing stories of his adolescent years in the music scene and how The Sound of Philadelphia (TSOP) came to be. Join for a fun, sweet, and heated hour of music outdoors in the park.

Tracing the evolution of the city's unique approach to music-making that became internationally admired between the 1970s and 1990s, the artist sings tributes to TSOP which produced hits by Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, Daryl Hall and John Oates, and Teddy Pendergrass.

NobleSoul reminisces on the meaning behind the songs like 'Aint No Stoppin Us Now' by McFadden and Whitehead, 'Me and Mrs. Jones by Billy Paul, and the album 'Message in the Music' by the OJays.

Get up and dance to the music that became the soundtrack to American lives forever, including classics by the band NobleSoul fronts today, Ebony and the Trammps.
With over 100 offerings from rebellious circus, delicious dance, fearless theater and activist art to workshops, parties, and more Cannonball pushes the boundaries of live performance at four different venues this Fringe. Come as you are and stay past bedtime. Blaze your own trail at cannonballfestival.org.
