Humble Materials & guest artist Natalie Fletcher (body-painter / Skin Wars season 1 winner) join forces in a post-pandemic adaptation of Charlotte Perkins-Gilman's THE YELLOW WALLPAPER. Our unreliable narrator, Jane, embarks on a quest to "cure" her mental illness despite her exhausting wallpaper.
Humble Materials is a physical theatre collective in residence at Philly PACK. They produce small-budget, large-impact, femme-centric work. Founded in 2021, Humble Materials has produced WHITE DRESS (April, 2021, Philly Theatre Week), OF A FEATHER (September, 2021, Fringie winner), MEDEA (February, 2022) and SCARLET LETTER (September, 2022, Fringie winner).
