Where Echoes Remain

Connect

Ballet lives deep in the body, carefully etched into bones and hearts through years of repetition, rigor, and reverie. It is an art form of devotion and dreaming, of control and release. For many dancers, the relationship is complex. Even after time away, its resonating influence endures.

Where Echoes Remain is a living collage of original ballet choreography and personal stories told by dancers. Developed through a reflective workshop process, memories become movement and performance a reawakening. Themes of departure, return, and ballet's purpose in adulthood give perspective to the narratives that unfold. We celebrate those who have taken unconventional paths and who continue to feel the quiet call to be seen in the language of ballet. It is a study in grace, resilience, and the part of us that still dances.

About the Artist

Ballet is my first dance language and an old friend. I am grateful to the art form for what it has taught me about artistry, discipline, and self expression.

I feel privileged to have received my formal training at the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet under the late John White and Margarita de Saá. I am also deeply thankful for the professors and guest choreographers at Bryn Mawr College, who widely expanded my knowledge of global dance history, technique, and choreography. This foundation prepared me to perform, teach, and create in Philadelphia and beyond over the last 10 years.

I believe there are a lot of dancers like me who still have a love for ballet and need an outlet for performing in adulthood. I want to invite those who took an unconventional path or had to take care of other aspects of life to come back to the studio to reconnect with a part of themselves that feels authentic and alive.
