Lemon Hill Park
Philadelphia
Lemon Hill is the entry point into Fairmount Park and is the first segment of East Fairmount Park. It begins at the intersection of Kelly Drive & Sedgley Ave. directly behind the Museum of Art and parallel to historic Boathouse Row and stretches to Girard Ave. Lemon Hill draws in residents from Fairmount, Brewerytown, Francisville, Spring Garden and Strawberry Mansion, park users along the Schuylkill River Trail that begins in South/Center City to the northwest outskirts of the city line. It is easily accessible by public transit, cycling and has ample street parking. It boasts one of the best skyline views in the city, rolling hills, groves of shady trees, picnic sites and a signature 1 mile hiking trail.
Note: Lemon Hill's boundaries are Kelly Drive along it's west bank, Sedgley Ave/Poplar Drive along it's East and Girard Avenue along the North. The park can be accessed by all of these thoroughfares.
