Welcome to The Waiting Room, an immersive site-specific experience where the audience checks in with the host, fills out intake forms, receives a number, is given a pair of headphones to listen to their choice of three audio tracks, and waits for their number to be called. And waits. And waits.
This show has a capacity of 30 audience members and it is exactly what it says, a waiting room. There will be forms to complete and a host to talk to, but mostly there will be waiting. 30 will wait. 5 will be called. The only way to know if you are one of the chosen is to buy a ticket. We appreciate your patience.
Studio 34 is West Philly’s Fringe Hub and a mixed-use yoga/healing/arts spot all year round! Named for the trolley that stops out front, we host art, comedy, dance, drag, music, poetry, puppetry and theatre in our gallery, lounge, and studio spaces, as well as
holistic services, 30+ weekly classes, and a wide array of community happenings. About the Artist
Phoenix Tears Productions is a women-run, small Orlando based Theatre Company that got its start presenting fandom based shows at conventions around the country. Now we specialize in interactive and immersive productions. Phoenix Tears productions has developed interactive murder mysteries, immersive audio dramas, and interactive Zoom shows.
We are dedicated to promoting new voices in performance arts and to providing them a platform to express their creativity. We strive to produce new content that feeds the creative mind and welcomes all artists, actors, directors, writers, and designers to join our team.
We are more than just a production company, we are a community. Phoenix Tears Productions works to promote not just our own productions, but also the projects of those around us. Above all else we strive to cultivate and grow the arts in our community. A rising tide raises all boats.
