What does it mean to volunteer in the Philadelphia Fringe Festival?

Volunteering in the Philadelphia Fringe Festival not only makes you a crucial member of our team, but also a supporter of Festival artists and patrons. As a Festival Volunteer, you might be ushering for a performance, showing audiences around the Festival Campus, or distributing Festival Guides! The opportunities, like the art, are endless.

And who is the perfect volunteer? Anyone who loves the arts ages 14 and up, the young and the young-at-heart alike. As long as you have a passion and interest in creating a positive experience for our artists and patrons, we would love to have you! NOTE: FringeArts requires all volunteers to be fully vaccinated and show proof of vaccination before volunteering.

Independent Volunteer Pool

The Philadelphia Fringe Festival spans the entire city and includes over 200 independently produced performances and events presented by Philadelphia based and touring artists! Anyone interested in listing their event in the Fringe Festival is welcome, and they need your support!

By adding yourself to the Independent Volunteer Pool, you are offering help to artists presenting work from full theatrical productions to DIY, one-man shows!

Note that independent volunteers are not managed by FringeArts and will communicate with the artist or producer of the event directly.
