Overview

Deadeye Dick is a cabaret-style adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut’s 1982 absurdist tale about Rudy Waltz, a murderer turned pharmacist turned playwright turned pharmacist turned hotel-owner.

In this production, Rudy, nea, Deadeye Dick leads us through his life and times in a show brimming with humor, electric jazz-fusion, and food samplings of varying quality. Among the many anecdotes shared is one about a neutron bomb explosion – how does his life get to this point? It must be seen to be understood.

Composer and Lyricist Braden Allison stars as the titular “Deadeye Dick” in this production alongside a live jazz band at PigIron Theatre Company’s Studio B. Come and take part in the madness!
