Aaron walks with a cane, and everyone asks "what happened?" Falling: a disabled love story answers the question first with a story youve heard a thousand times, and then with one youve never heard before. Faced with a spinal cord injury, this show follows Aarons journey to understand this new body in the uncertain world of first loves, online dating, and sex. The show untangles his own understanding of his body and the stories he tells himself. Falling is an uncomfortably sexy and hilariously vulnerable stumble through Aaron's misadventures searching for love and settling for sad handjobs in life after disability.
With over 100 offerings from rebellious circus, delicious dance, fearless theatre and activist art to workshops, parties, and more Cannonball pushes the boundaries of live performance at four different venues this Fringe. Come as you are and stay past bedtime at cannonballfestival.org.

An Oakland, California native, Aaron Pang is a writer, storyteller and comedian telling stories to any one who will listen. A first generation child of Chinese immigrants, a choir boy, a former tech guy, and a disabled person, Aaron hopes his stories will inspire others to embrace their multifaceted identities. He is interested in leading audiences to places theyve never been. Aarons work mixes the sincerity of storytelling, cynicism of stand-up, and the physicality of clown, to create an experience that manipulates and challenges the audiences understanding of disabled narratives, bodies, and jokes. Aaron has performed at The Spaghettifest at the Elysian Theater in LA, The Riverside Theatre in Iowa City, toured with The Moth Radio Hour MainStage, won The Moth StorySLAM, Unruly Storyfest, among others.
