I Killed Andy Breitbart

Pam Dickler

Solo Show, Spoken Word & Storytelling, Theater

Connect

I Killed Andy Breitbart is an absurdly funny solo-show that tells the true story of how the far right tried to use a small Chicago theater company to torpedo the re-election of President Barack Obama. The play shines a light on how easy it is for an ordinary person to become the temporary focus of social media’s spin and misperceptions.

This play is a reminder that we have a voice, both individually and collectively, and that we need to share our stories. If we don't, our stories may be lost, or worse -- our history could be rewritten by others.

“Revelatory! Each step of the journey was carefully crafted, authentic, and spellbinding. Pam had us roaring with laughter moments before sitting in stunned silence, on repeat.” – Scott Whitehair, Solo Sunday Producer

“A magnificent triumph of writing, performance, intellectual rigor, insight, satire and wit!” – Ifa Bayeza, Award-Winning Playwright/Author

“Pam is very funny, and her timing is terrific. Every moment is so entertaining, even when it gets dark. I was so impressed by the “serpentine” recognition of the need to rewind the history line every now and then to contextualize things as we move forward. Masterful!" – Gary Houston, Theater/Film Actor (Fargo, Doubt, Chicago Med)

"Really, truly, excellent performance. Flawless!” – Aaron Freeman, Comedian/Writer/Director

Pam received her BFA from Syracuse University, where she later served on her college’s advisory board. Originally from Bucks County, Pam resides in Chicago. She’s a proud member of The Dramatists Guild.
