Overview

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD is a performance study of marriage and its ceremonies. A band of beauties and fools will speak on, dance around, serenade, photograph, bake about, and sit with the feelings and procedures that accompany this legal and cultural phenomenon. Think cabaret, open mic, or: a toast.

About the Artist

Circuitous Situationship is an irreverent band of performing artists making absurd and heartfelt concert-dance-theater works at historical sites to remember and play together.

​We want those that engage with our work to have fun and feel a sense of self determination.

​Our work is supported by in-depth training in concert dance and music as well as stand up comedy and physical theater.

We believe in a combo-pack of radical acceptance and refusal as a means of propelling performance to be honest, alluring, and charged with passion.

We are okay with causing confusion because everything we know now was learned by being confused first.
