Strike! recalls the catastrophic firefighters strike during Chicago winter 1980. It is presented through three voices in a dramatic documentary form. Featuring The Highland Lakes Players of Austin, Texas, including Sebastian Garcia, Samantha Levine and Raymond V. Whelan. Directed and written by Whelan. The trio will voice several public officials involved with the intense labor conflict, including Mayor Jane Byrne and Chicago Firefighters Union President Frank Muscare.
