Overview

Imagine you are 18-year-old college freshman, resident in NYC for one week. On your way to class, you are swept into the chaos of the World Trade Center’s twin tower attack. For Liz, this nightmare is the truth.
Remembering the 9-11 disaster 20 years later, this one person performance examines the concept of memory: where it lives, what it does to us, and what it means. Join Liz as she shares what it is like to be a witness to the horrible day that changed the world.

Liz Zimmerman

Liz settled in Philly after training as a creative writer at Philly's CAPA on South Broad, a playwright at NYU (BFA) and then getting a cultural and academic boost from Trinity College Dublin (Master’s). Liz has enjoyed participating in Philly Fringe since 2008 as a producer, writer, performer and/or audience member.
