About the Artist

N1Theatre provides our friends and neighbors with high-quality arts programming that entertains, educates, and inspires. We serve an evolving culturally and economically diverse population of rapidly developing global performing arts communities, especially in Philadelphia and the Lower East Side of New York City. We open our doors to all artists and friends of the arts to create a place where new voices can be heard and old voices can finally find a resting place to call home. N1 places particular emphasis on new play and multimedia development, public readings, presentation of major works in traditional and avant-garde theatre, and incubating potentially groundbreaking work.
