ANARCHY! was created to call attention to the ugly parts of our nation while imagining a future where everyone comes together to improve the world. A circus dance production that will keep your attention from start to finish. Audiences will feel the raw emotion from our performers and be inspired by the thrilling stunts that peel the layers of chaos and bring a new meaning to the word: ANARCHY!

About the Artist

The Rebellion Circus is a collective of performers from Rebel Arts Movement. Founded by Alyssa Bigbee in 2020, Rebel Arts Movement is a community-centered circus arts and dance studio based in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia. Originally opening to provide accessible movement education, the organization expanded to include circus arts in 2022 after Bigbee trained in Aerial Bungee, Aerial Silks, and Lyra.

Rebel Arts Movement specializes in tumbling, acrobatics, and aerial arts, with a mission to reach inner city youth and provide a space where they can learn and express themselves freely through movement. The Rebellion Circus was founded in 2023 as a means to provide a space for students and performers to raise awareness to social issues through circus.

As a hub for community connection and youth empowerment, The Rebellion and Rebel Arts both serve as a place for budding artist to be their authentic selves. Located in Harrowgate at the corner of I street and Ontario, Rebel Arts Movement is more than a studio—it's a movement for social change through artistic expression.
