The Women's Film Festival
Founded in 2014, The Women’s Film Festival showcases films “by, for and about women”. Our goal is simple: to present captivating programming that engages and inspires, to connect with our community at-large, to be a space that supports and encourages women of all backgrounds to embrace “leading roles” both in front of and behind the camera.
Our marquee event is The Women’s Film Festival (TWFF). TWFF is an interactive, eleven day, keystone event, showcasing the versatility of women in film, from documentary shorts, to animated cuts, to narrative features. We enhance the film experience with live performances, workshops, panels, networking events and more. It is the singular festival of its kind in the Philadelphia region. TWFF brings together audience members from all over the region and filmmakers, actors and leaders from around the globe. We also offer numerous film screenings, workshops and networking events throughout the year. Now in our 6th year,
We are excited to be participating in the Fringe Festival for our 3rd "Animation Nation" a program of short animated films..
