“Be Good!” with Paulette

Daniel Maseda

Details

Categories: Clown, Comedy & Improv, Theater

Dates: January 1, 1970

Overview

Introducing the mildest man imaginable. Don’t ask about his black eye.

Paulette stumbles into a theater full of the most people he’s ever seen, and he doesn’t know whether to panic or mingle. Sporting a brown sweater and a hot-off-the-fist black eye, he dares to approach the stage armed with nothing but an arsenal of pleasantries, a pocketful of charm, and a monumental fear of rejection.

Audiences to date have described Paulette as “petite,” “crow-like,” and “not the sharpest, but definitely the nicest.” With any luck, Philly Fringe viewers will shower similar praise on his neatly combed head.

Certified clown Daniel Maseda makes his solo debut with this unsolicited evening of giddy small talk madness that can’t help but be different every night. One thing is for certain: this show has something for anyone who just wants to scream at a polite person.

With over 100 offerings from rebellious circus, delicious dance, fearless theatre and activist art to workshops, parties, and more Cannonball pushes the boundaries of live performance at four different venues this Fringe. Come as you are and stay past bedtime at cannonballfestival.org.Learn More
