Overview

Chronic Presents: cartas de amor a Puerto Rico is an ode to Hispanic Culture and the mythology of Puerto Rican culture. Through various apparatus, we invite our audience to be guided along a mysterious journey of history, dance, and music. Dancers featured in this exhibition will represent the local Philadelphia circus scene. Living and exploring life through disability and accessibility needs— we transcend. Dancers will take you on a magical ride through the rainforest of El Yunque to the large manicured lawns of Old San Juan. Crashing waves and sun-kissed skin. Travel. Escape.

About the Artist

Chronic Presents is a traveling dance collective, founded in Philadelphia. With a goal to celebrate all dancers, especially those with chronic illness and accessibility needs to dance and express their movement in showcase formats.
