Overview

COMEDYSPORTZ | Sunday, September 17th at 2pm
ComedySportz is an improv comedy show that thinks it’s a sporting match. The comedy is made up on the spot, but the competition is real! Two teams, The New Jersey Turnpikes and The Philadelphia Whiz Wits, battle each other in a series of improv games and scenes; whichever one gets the most laughs from you, the Loyal Fans, wins! We have been entertaining fans like you for 30 years, which makes us Philly’s longest-running show! Rated for EVERYONE

CSz Presents: Trending has been canceled

TRENDING | Monday, September 18 at 7:30pm
TRENDING is a longform improv comedy show that teases and celebrates everything that is cool right now. We’ve brought together a diverse cast of talented and experienced improvisers from ComedySportz Philadelphia to help us make sense of what everyone is talking about. In the first part of the show, you and the cast explore what is hot in celebrity gossip, social media, and entertainment*. It’s a fun and interactive experience as you dive deep into trending topics. Then you get to sit back and enjoy, as the cast use all that great info to create a fun and inspired set of comedy scenes. Rated R

Crossroads Comedy Theater is a roaming home for comedy shows, classes, and podcasts. Whether you like to sit back and watch improv, sketch comedy, stand-up, storytelling, or any other type of comedy or are interested in learning how to do those things- they got your back!

About the Artist

At CSz Philly, we are experts when it comes to comedy and improvisation. We should be since we've been doing it for more than a quarter century! We start on stage where we entertain everyone with hysterical comedy shows including ComedySportz, Philadelphia’s longest-running show. In the classroom we teach our students how to use improv to entertain and excite audiences. And in the board room, we teach professionals how to communicate, listen, and take risks using Applied Improvisation.
