Ever met a Honkynigger before? Meet Meagan, a mixed-race Black and White clown. She’s got a bone to pick with mommy and daddy. Meagan will fumble, flail, and cackle her way back to the truth. IF she can find it. She will chat with her slutty shadow from Vegas, chug the breast milk from her fathers mistress, and go door to door preaching the good news like the pure Jehovah’s witness she was raised to be. Anything to figure out who the hell she is and which parts of her identity she’s allowed to claim.
Cannonball, produced by Almanac Dance Circus Theatre, is the first and largest independent festival hub of the Philadelphia Fringe that presents risk-taking independent artists in back-to-back performances next to delicious lounge spaces, fostering creative collisions and community conversation.
Learn MoreMeagan Kimberly Smith is a philly based classically trained actress and singer. She gained her BFA at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
