A visual premier and installation experience by Shakira Hunt and 7God.

Experiential curators/artists Shakira Hunt and 7God focus on storytelling through their practices of visual art and digital media with a collective goal to amplify and support the advancement of artists, specifically Black voices through visual art, education, and community.

“Unveiling Perspectives,” is a unique artistic experience aiming to celebrate the convergence of art and photography, igniting conversations and connections within the creative community. Audiences will experience visual storytelling in an immersive, multi-sensory art and photography installation. Enjoy networking and connection with like-minded creatives; the premiere of a series of visually stunning short films that offer a glimpse into the artistic process; and an artist dialogue moderated by Will Toms, co-founder of REC Philly.

About the Artist

Experiential curators/ artists Shakira Hunt and 7God focus on storytelling through their practices of visual art and digital media with a collective goal to amplify and support the advancement of artists, specifically black voices through visual art, education, and community. Their work focuses on mental health and wellness - challenging identity, and education through the mediums of paint, photography, creative direction and film. Their works and experiences as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) help to illustrate and construct narratives that challenge America's status quo such as (classism, gender, and race).
