Overview

Everyone has a story to tell.

A phone call from a stranger may hold the key to an opportunity for a fresh start. A cabaret singer does not like the janitor at her club. An aggrieved husband seeks revenge on the man who seduced his wife. A homeowner is taken off guard by something discovered in his new house. A journalist becomes infatuated with a writer, leaving her fiancé behind. A patient searches for a new acupuncturist when their current one starts to believe he has magical powers. A wealthy bachelor collaborates with Burberry to create a wardrobe of priest’s clothing. A Bronx food cart owner waits for the woman he loves to realize how exceptional he is. A quarantined woman slips away from her boyfriend to call her lover. A pianist, prone to visions, unravels the curious sequence of events that pushed him too far.

Journey with us through these darkly comedic, unusual and alluring tales about the absurdity of being human, from the Pulitzer Prize-winning mind of John Patrick Shanley.
