Overview
Ever daydream while gazing up at the clouds?
What if we told you that those daydreams can become plays, and those clouds can become characters? With your creativity, anything is possible!
Join Philadelphia Young Playwrights for Scribble Sky, a signature activity that will show you one of the zillion ways to make a play. We’ll move our daydreams onto pages of paper, and take our plays from the clouds to the stage!
*This activity is best enjoyed by artists ages 7 and up.
This new annual hub, curated by Philly Children's Theatre is the perfect opportunity to let your imaginations run wild through the power of art. Join us Sept 23 & 24 at the Boys and Girls Club of West Philadelphia in Cobbs Creek for two full days of art-making, music-creating, dance-grooving workshops. Plus interactive performances of opera, theatre, storytelling, and dance.

Since 1987, Philadelphia Young Playwrights (PYP) has partnered with educators to bring the transformative power of playwriting into classrooms and community settings across Greater Philadelphia. Placing students at the center of their learning, PYP's intensive writing residencies advance writing-based literacy skills while developing critical 21st century skills like creativity, communication, and collaboration.
