Allison’s story begins at the Philadelphia Juggler’s Club, when her father was set up on a blind date with his future wife. So it is really because of juggling that Allison even exists. She learned to juggle from her father at a young age, then progressed to baton twirling, fire spinning, and then, much later, she left the safety of the ground and explored the skies through the aerial arts. She met Eric Geoffrey at a Give and Take performance when he threw a hat into the audience and Allison caught it…on her head. Before she knew it, she was part of the act!

Eric joined The Give & Take Jugglers in 1984 at the age of 14. Straight out of high school he attended the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Clown College, and graduated (Class of ’88!) with an invitation to join their Blue Unit roadshow as an aerial slapstick clown. Ironically, he didn’t juggle on the show, but danced the can-can on stilts, was the seventeenth clown to exit the VW bug, and got stranded daily in an exploding cable car. Eric is also a passionate musician and tree climber.

Allison and Eric perform full time in a range of settings from school assembly programs (their fav!) to fairs, festivals, and community events, and marvel constantly at it all. Performing together for 10 years and married for 7, they have two children and a cat.
