Journey alongside a college student riding the Mental Health Rollercoaster, including hairpin turns with dour psychologists, cheery game show hosts, and creepy infomercials. While tracking one young woman’s personal odyssey — with dark humor as well as unvarnished truths — The Silent Struggle (There, I Said It) solo performance also seeks to address systemic problems, including stigmas surrounding mental health issues and disparities in treatment for African Americans and other people of color.
Between 2pm to 2:45pm, concession stand will be open with food and drink available for purchase.
There will be a 15 min talkback immediately following the performance.
