Overview

Join us for a Trans Party! Trans Party is a celebration of trans life, love, community, and other things we’ll decide together in this immersive, audience-run experience. Matthias has set up a party, and everyone’s brought gifts! Together we’ll unpack what it means to be a part of the trans community and shake away some of the fear and misconceptions that circulate about trans lives. A bold and loving exploration of trans joy through song, story, and friendship bracelets.

Originally performed as part of the Kaleidoscope Festival in London, this partially improvised interactive theatre piece is making its US debut as part of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival. With a small and intimate audience, it’s the perfect opportunity for trans folks, allies, and allies-in-training to learn, share, celebrate, and hold space for the complicated beauty that is being trans in 2023.
