Overview

Undersigned is a psychological thriller for an audience of one.

For those who respond to that statement with curiosity (or at the very least, who are still reading), award-winning Experience Maker Yannick Trapman-O’Brien (The Telelibrary, Fair Trade) is releasing a limited number of public slots for what has previously been an invitation-only, decidedly unconventional production.

Depending on your choices, your experience will last between 30-50 minutes. Your participation will involve an invocation, a blindfold, and a pointed discussion.

The topics of this discussion will vary based on your input, and may include but are not limited to Money, Power, Sex, Pleasure, Violence, Blood, Wild Conjecture, and the Occult. You are invited to entertain or dismiss any topic of discussion that arises, or may request in advance that a topic be off limits.

Rather than purchasing a ticket, participants are asked to make a “Down Payment;” this is done in acknowledgement that getting a reservation for this experience is a risk. This risk is certainly your money; you are putting down $50, which is not nothing (in this economy, it’s almost …. 2 gallons of milk?). It’s also your time; 50 minutes is not nothing (and does not include however long parking or SEPTA will extract from your life). Finally, this risk is also your participation; you will be taking a distinctly active role in your invocation, and you stand to gain as much as you are willing to venture.

While Management certainly supports the business of risky business, in recognition of the gamble you are taking, the Management of the Undersigned will join you in risk: at the venue, there will be an envelope with your name on it, containing $15. When your experience is complete, should you feel you got more than you bargained, you will have the option of adding money to it. Should you feel otherwise, you will have the option of taking money ou
