The subtle body connects us globally by the threads of grief, joy, struggle, and awakening. "A Call to Prayer" by Zaquia Mahler Salinas is a moving meditation that pulls these threads through embodied ritual, inviting us to honor our pain and call into existence restoration and hope. With both universal themes and unique expressions of ritual and communion as a source material, this dance seeks to connect us to the collective experience of journeying into and out of darkness.
